Lumio is a new generation Set Top Box based on Android, developed by Software Mind. In conjunction with the Software Mind IPTV Multimedia Platform for ISP - it creates a complete "turnkey" IPTV solution. This solution is designed for ISP operators who want to adapt software to their needs and are not happy with the price of Set Top Boxes.
ISP operators who intend to provide IPTV services need affordable Set Top Box devices based on Android. Possibility to adapt the entire IT solution providing television services to the individual business and technology needs of providers is also an important factor. In order to meet these needs, Software Mind has developed an 'all-in-one' software - hardware platform,
which fulfils all these criteria.
At a very attractive price of Lumio, the platform offered by Software Mind supports SD/HD television, allows for browsing the Internet and using many additional applications on the TV screen. The solution also serves as a media player, photo browser and a computer with access to Web pages. Besides the basic functions, customized solutions specifc to a particular implementation are also provided, such as local services (pizza, taxi) or self-care screens (viewing payments, invoices, ordering services).
For the most demanding customers, we have developed an extension of the service called the 3-Screens Solution, which provides materials through 3 channels: TV, PC and mobile devices. An interesting addition is an remote control application for smartphones that allows moving the currently viewed material from the device to the TV (photos, videos).
